Jakub provides clients with comprehensive legal services in these areas. He represents clients in proceedings before courts of all instances, including the Constitutional Court, arbitration bodies and authorities. He has also participated in international arbitration processes. Jakub has over a decade of experience in overseeing litigations across domestic and foreign jurisdictions. His portfolio comprises complicated disputes, including billion-dollar cases and cases with an international element. He represents clients in insolvency and enforcement proceedings.

He specialises in commercial and civil contractual matters, with a focus on comprehensive preparation of contractual documents and the settlement of contractual relationships. He has been involved in legal audit projects of major Czech and foreign companies and participated in numerous legal expert analyses and preparation of documentation for large property transactions.
He has extensive experience in competition and public procurement law, including the assessment of international M&A transactions and organising tenders and architecture competitions.
Jakub also deals with intellectual property issues, and in particular copyright protection, as well as investment development and related disputes.

He received a master’s degree (Mgr.) after graduating from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague in 2008.

He already practiced law in Czech and international law firms during his studies.

Jakub has been practicing law since 2008, first as a trainee attorney-at-law and then as an attorney-at-law at Kříž & Bělina, and later as an attorney-at-law at Bělina & Partners. He has been a corporate agent (since 2018) and a partner (since 2023) at Bělina & Partners.
