Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. He has been an attorney since 1991. He co-founded Advokátní kancelář Kříž a Bělina s.r.o., where he was the Executive Director and Partner until 2012. He also completed a postgraduate course at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition to his attorney practice he also heads the Department of Labour and Social Security Law of the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. He is simultaneously a member of the legislative council of the Czech government, a member of the Research Council of the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, the Chairman of the Czech Society for Labour and Social Security Law, a member of the administrative committee of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law and an arbitrator and Member of the Board of the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. He has written or co-written many professional publications in the field of labour and social security law.
He specialises in labour and commercial law. He has contributed to many high-profile privatisation projects, mergers, acquisitions, sales of ownership shares and enterprises. In addition to his practice in the field, he also has years of experience in the area of social security law. He speaks Czech, English and Russian.
