Mgr. Martin Bělina

(b. 1976 in Prague)

Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. During his studies he completed a one-year fellowship at the Law Faculty of the University of Turku in Finland with an orientation on European law. He has been active in the legal profession since 2000, first in the Balcar, David, Prokopec, Veselý Law Firm and, from 2003, in Advokátní kanceláři Kříž a Bělina s.r.o, where he was an Executive and Partner from 2010 to 2012. He is an Arbitrator with the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.  He is a member of the Czech Bar Association's Disciplinary Committee.

He specialises primarily in litigation, commercial law and economic competition. He has vast experience providing legal services in the area of company transformations (mergers, de-mergers, transfers of equity to partners and changes of legal form). He provides legal services in the area of the administration and collection of debts. He leads teams in the performance of legal due diligence. He cooperates with clients operating in technical fields, in the energy, construction, telecommunications and transport sectors. He is fluent in Czech and English and also speaks Russian and German.
