Profile of Firm

In terms of personnel and clientele the Bělina & Partners Law Firm is a successor to the activities of Advokátní kanceláře Kříž a Bělina s.r.o., which began its operations back in 1991. The Bělina & Partners Law Firm provides a wide spectrum of legal services through specialised Attorneys. The members of the Bělina & Partners Law Firm are not satisfied with “merely” performing the legal profession, but offer their clients the necessary overlap on a pedagogical, scientific and legislative level.

Prof. JUDr. Miroslav Bělina, CSc. heads the Department of Labour Law and Social Security Law of the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague. He is concurrently a member of the legislative council of the Czech government and several other professional associations and groups. He is the author of the commentary on the Labour Code regularly issued by the publisher C. H. Beck, while JUDr. Tomáš Bělina is also among the team of co-authors. The members of the Bělina & Partners Law Firm have long figured on the list of Arbitrators at the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic, whose history reaches back to 1949. The Bělina & Partners Law Firm advocates the ethical values of its profession, which are actively upheld by Mgr. Martin Bělina in his membership in the Czech Bar Association’s disciplinary commission and by JUDr. Tomáš Bělina in his membership in the Czech Bar Association’s inspection committee. The Bělina & Partners Law Firm has acquired valuable experience through pro bono work for the non-profit sector, specifically through Mgr. Zuzana Bělinová’s activities in the Our Child Foundation.

The Bělina & Partners law firm is a member of the International Practice Group – an international association of approximately 80 law firms and tax advisors.
